About Romney Marsh  Community Hub (RMCH)

Romney Marsh Community Hub is a local charity dedicated to supporting, connecting, and inspiring those over 50 in the Marsh area. Operating from two welcoming centres—Hub on Rolfe Lane in New Romney and the recently launched Hub on the Beach in Greatstone—RMCH offers a wide range of services, including:

• Health & fitness classes like Line Dancing, Tai Chi, Pilates, and Walking Groups

• Social clubs such as Sunflower Singers, Arts & Crafts, and Board Games

• Support groups covering cancer peer support, veterans, bereavement, and dementia

• Practical advice on benefits, housing, healthcare, energy, funerals, and wills

• Dining options—community meals at the hubs or delivered to homes

Romney Marsh Community Hub traces its roots back to a small pop-in service established in 1975. It has since grown into an essential community organisation, rebranding in 2021 to reflect its expanded mission.
