The Workplace Savings Scheme From Wave Community Bank

east sussex county council

For years, East Sussex County Council has partnered with Wave Community Bank to operate a Workplace Savings Scheme. This initiative not only enhances the financial health of their employees by streamlining saving through payroll but also enables staff to access lower interest rates on loans repaid through payroll.

About East Sussex County Council

East Sussex County Council serves as the upper tier local authority for the non-metropolitan county of East Sussex in England. The county is organised into five distinct local government districts. Among these, three are predominantly rural and expansive: Lewes, Wealden, and Rother, arranged from west to east. Conversely, Eastbourne and Hastings constitute primarily urban areas. The rural districts are further delineated into civil parishes.

Headquartered at County Hall in Lewes, the County Council operates several administrative facilities across the region. Following the boundary adjustments in 2017, the council consists of 50 councillors, each representing an electoral division.

Affordable loan rates with Chorus

We offer great loan rates for employees repaying loans through Chorus.

Also our loans all have a savings element to the repayments so anyone repaying a loan is also creating a savings pot that they can access when the loan has been repaid. We foster a responsible attitude to credit and only lend to loan applicants that can afford to meet the repayments.
