Wave Community Bank is thrilled to announce our new partnership with Warming up the Homeless for our Workplace Savings Scheme, Chorus! 🎉

We’re joining forces with this incredible charity to support their employees and volunteers in achieving financial wellness and continuing their fantastic work in the local community.

Through Chorus, Warming up the Homeless staff will gain access to affordable loans and convenient savings options directly through their payroll. Plus, they’ll tap into our extensive pool of financial education resources, empowering them to make better financial decisions with confidence.

This partnership is part of our commitment to supporting organisations like Warming up the Homeless in making a positive impact. By offering Chorus, they’re not only enhancing the financial wellbeing of their team but also providing a valuable staff perk that promotes overall financial wellness.

Warming up the Homeless has been making waves in the Southeast Coast community since 2015, tirelessly supporting those experiencing homelessness and advocating for change. The charity is dedicated to aiding local authorities in finding housing solutions for individuals facing or experiencing homelessness. Warming Up the Homeless operates with a dedicated team of over 380 members, predominantly comprised of volunteers. Their organisation diligently serves around 5,600 homeless individuals, including men, women, and children, on a monthly basis.”

Their core mission revolves around alleviating poverty among street homeless individuals and rough sleepers by supplying essential items like sleeping bags, ground sheets, blankets, clothing, food, and toiletries. Additionally, they prioritise enhancing individual welfare by offering emotional support and guidance, ensuring everyone they encounter feels valued and connected to available services.

Their commitment to the community and service excellence has not gone unnoticed. In March 2023, the charity received an esteemed award from The High Sheriff of East Sussex, recognising their invaluable contributions to the community. Furthermore, CEO Trudy Hampton’s outstanding dedication has earned her prestigious accolades, including The Queen’s Platinum Champion Award for her remarkable community work, as well as the Mayor’s Civic Award in both 2022 and 2023. Wave Community Bank are honoured to stand beside them in their mission.

Trudy Hampton stated that “Warming up the Homeless is a responsible employer. We are Disability Confident and also a Supported Internship Employer. Working with Wave Community Bank ensure our staff and volunteers have the best chance of saving their money wisely with a well-known and trusted company.”

At Wave Community Bank, we believe in the power of collaboration. By working together, we can create a stronger, more resilient community. Chorus is just one way we’re contributing to the wellbeing of local workers and businesses, ensuring everyone has the support they need during these challenging times.
